Formatting by Finley, hereby recognized as “We” or “the Company”, provides professional book interior formatting and typesetting services for print (PDF) and eBooks (ePub).
Client’s Responsibility
The client, hereby recognized as “You” or “the Client”, is responsible for supplying their manuscript in a .docx format.
We are not responsible for fixing typos, grammatical errors, or structural issues found in the source text. Any text changes requested by You after formatting has begun may incur extra charges if outside the allotted revisions in the purchased package.
You have 7 days to review the initial formatting draft and request adjustments.
You have 5 revisions included in the purchased package. These revisions may include adjusting margins, trim sizes, and font face and sizes.
You hold the sole responsibility for reviewing the final print-ready PDF and ePub files before submitting it to distributors. We are not liable for printing costs, manufacturing errors, or distribution delays.
Final payment is due before delivery of final files and removal of watermarks. This includes payment plans.
Project Termination
If You cancel the project before final file delivery, We will refund you the total cost of the package minus applicable fees.

Intellectual Property Rights
You assert that you own the copyright to all text, images, and materials submitted.
We claim no ownership over the book’s content.
Upon receipt of final payment, We grant You an exclusive, worldwide license to use the final formatting for publication.
We retain the right to showcase anonymized layout samples or chapter headers in Our design portfolio.
Attribution and Credit
The Client agrees to include a credit to Formatting by Finley in the front matter of the published book (typically on the copyright page) for both print and digital editions. The credit shall read: “Interior Setting by Formatting by Finley”.
Limitation of Liability
Our total financial liability for any claim, error, omission, or breach of contract shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the services. We do not guarantee acceptance by third-party publishing platforms, though We will make reasonable technical adjustments to meet platform specifications.
